We carry a three by three column post that’s a thirty thousand plus pound capacity upgrade over here. We have a three by one in five eighths upgrate more of a medium duty which is rated at over nineteen thousand pounds capacity.
You’ll notice that it all the upgrate are three inches across the face where the beams connect this one is an inch and a half or again what we call an inch and five eighths size on it.

That’s a nineteen thousand three hundred pound capacity frame as rated by the manufacturer,that’s not a light duty frame, that is a medium duty for most typical applications and most warehouses.
However in your stock if you’re storing steel or other heavy items you might need the three by three again three inches across the face and now three inches in both directions. That’s a thirty thousand three hundred pound capacity upright with a thirteen gauge steel for most of our customers.This is as heavy as they’ll ever need to go.
